Sabataro and the Golden Scale (Children's Picture Book)

I contributed to a self-publishing picture book project based on characters, illustrations, and story ideas created by children with developmental differences who experience challenges with language and communication.

Working closely with each child, I provided illustration guidance and story development support while respecting their individual ideas and creative expression. My goal was to preserve each child’s unique imagination and sense of humor, helping shape their ideas into a picture book that authentically reflects their world.

I also hope that involving children in the creative process—from idea to finished book—can inspire the joy of seeing their own ideas come to life and spark an interest in creative work.

One of my goals as an illustrator is to inspire children to cherish what they love and to believe that their ideas and dreams can grow into something real.

For that reason, I am especially grateful to have been part of this project and to have had the opportunity to support and celebrate each child’s creativity and unique way of seeing the world.
