Yearning for Popularity

“Yearning for Popularity” is about a young fly aspiring to the popularity of ladybugs, unaware of its own unique beauty. The concept aims to highlight that everyone has their own special shine. I animated the story using frame-by-frame techniques in Photoshop, adding textures that give life and a handcrafted feel to the digital work. The animation was created as part of a month-long daily challenge (“Peachtober 2023”).
