Hello, my name is Saori Wago and my nickname is “Wagon.” :)

I create playful illustrations with passion. My work often features characters and elements of their world in small details, sparking stories in the viewer’s mind. I also enjoy combining ideas to create unique and imaginative expressions.

From 2012 to 2022, I mainly worked with a popular online game studio in Japan. At the same time, I started taking on freelance projects on the side, including children’s books, web design, illustrations and animations for amusement parks, YouTubers, games, and more. Since 2023, I’ve been working exclusively as a freelancer.

For client work, I value clear communication with early feedback and expanding on the needs that may be hard to express.
